renÉssence Vocal Ensemble

RenÉssence Vocal Ensemble is an a cappella vocal ensemble founded in 2019 in Corfu, Greece, by 9 young musicians, graduates of the Ionian University. Since 2021, the ensemble has been based in Athens and comprises seven core members, presenting concerts and multidisciplinary performances that combine repertoire from the Renaissance to the 21st century with elements of speech and movement.

RenÉssence has performed at major events such as the International Choir Festival Paros, the European Youth Days, and the series of concerts Sacrέ  and has recorded A Dream by Manthos Damigos.

In 2024 and 2025, the ensemble presented Je reviens in three sold-out performances at Baggeion and PLYFA. Most recently, RenÉssence presented The First Child of the Earth at Baumstrasse. In September 2026, the ensemble will perform as part of the Sacrέ.
