The First Child of the Earth is a story we already know: a boy, a girl, an apple, and God knows what else.
In a garden—or perhaps just beyond it. There, songs are heard like prayers, and prayers become songs.
The First Child of the Earth is born after a loss, a repentance, another loss, a return, another loss, and yet
another loss—perhaps we were the ones who wished for all those losses.
When The First Child of the Earth is born, it does not cry. It sings.
Ultimately, The First Child of the Earth tells the story of two protagonists: God and humanity, through words and songs that hurl us back to that place, to that time.
It is a musical performance for those who insist on believing in something that does not yet exist—and, in the end, bring it into existence.
